We are pleased to share a summary of an upcoming Economic Development & Engagement Intern position for this summer at the Atlantic County Economic Alliance (ACEA).
This 8-week internship (200 hours) runs between June 1 and August 31 and offers students hands-on experience in economic development, business outreach, research, and stakeholder engagement. Interns will support ACEA staff through in-person business visits, data collection, reporting, and community engagement efforts across Atlantic County. The position pays $17/hour and requires 25 hours per week (Monday–Thursday). Candidates must be Atlantic County residents between the ages of 18–24.
The ACEA currently has approximately 1–2 remaining spots to fill and are aiming to move efficiently through the selection process, with the goal of conducting candidate interviews by the end of this week where possible. For college students away from home, we can do a zoom for the interview. Our interns do not stuff envelopes. They perform actual economic development and business work with substantive outcomes!
